Major milestone in renewable energy growth strategy with 100 MWp photovoltaic pipeline in Italy
Expansion of renewable energy in Italy: three new photovoltaic projects launch
psaier.energies has announced a significant step forward in its growth strategy within the renewable energy sector. In line with this direction, the company has signed a strategic agreement with DCH Solargiga to develop photovoltaic solar parks across Italy over the coming years, with a total planned capacity of 100 MWp.
The first milestone in this partnership has been the signing of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts for three photovoltaic projects developed by DCH Energy: Muzzana Agricolo, Muzzana Industriale, and Villa Vicentina, all located in the Province of Udine, in northeastern Italy. Ferracin srl will be responsible for delivering the grid connection works. All three plants are scheduled to be fully operational by the end of 2026.
With the execution of these initial EPC contracts with DCH Energy, the construction phase of the first 10 MWp in Northeast Italy is officially underway, with commercial operation expected in Q4 2026.
Over the next 20 years, the three solar plants will generate enough clean energy to meet the annual electricity demand of approximately 5,000 households, while avoiding around 4,600 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. Based on the average absorption capacity of a tree—approximately 22 kg of CO₂ per year—the environmental impact of these installations is equivalent to a forest of more than 200,000 trees.
Through projects such as these, psaier.energies further strengthens its commitment to the development of renewable energy infrastructure and actively supports the energy transition across Italy and Europe.

AI-Powered Energy Monitoring: Higher Data Quality and Reliability for Renewable Energy Systems
AI-Powered Energy Monitoring: Improving Data Quality and Reliability in Renewable Energy
A joint project between tecno.energy and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) enhances the reliability and quality of renewable energy monitoring data by applying artificial intelligence to energy systems.
Developed within the DIPS – Digitalization and Innovation of Public Services initiative, the project addresses a key challenge in energy monitoring: interruptions in data flows that can lead to gaps in real-time analytics, operational decisions, and system efficiency.
tecno.energy, part of the psaier.energies ecosystem, brings expertise in renewable energy plants, monitoring systems, and integrated dataloggers. In collaboration with FBK’s Data and Knowledge Management unit, the project focuses on two main AI-driven solutions:
- Intelligent classification of hardware and software anomalies
- Predictive estimation of missing energy data using advanced analytics
These solutions improve data continuity, reduce manual intervention, and increase operational efficiency, enabling more reliable monitoring of renewable energy systems.
The tecno.energy project team (Helen Henninger, Andreas Stedile, Michele Granieri) contributed in particular to software development, datalogger integration, operational analysis, identification of critical issues, and overall project coordination. For psaier.energies it represents an important step in the evolution of digital energy management and smart metering.
A key role was played by FBK’s Data and Knowledge Management research unit, which successfully translated real-world operational requirements into a structured framework for analysis and experimentation. For the Fondazione Bruno Kessler the project is a concrete application of AI for energy monitoring.

Completed in early 2026 and supported by the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence, the initiative demonstrates how AI can significantly enhance the quality, reliability, and efficiency of renewable energy monitoring systems.

Tecno.energy maintains ESCo Certification – Continuing Excellence in Energy Efficiency
Certified. Confirmed. Proven – since 2019.
Tecno.energy Ltd, part of the psaier.energies-Group and active in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors, helps companies and investors reduce costs and energy consumption through efficient, tailor-made solutions. This year, tecno.energy successfully passed the ESCo audit according to UNI CEI 11352:2014, continuing an unbroken record since 2019 and reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for energy efficiency projects.
The ESCo (Energy Management Services) certification is a recognized standard for companies providing energy services. It clearly demonstrates technical, organizational, and financial capabilities to design, implement, and manage energy efficiency projects, with the goal of reducing consumption and optimizing the performance of buildings and systems.
Achieving and maintaining this certification provides significant added value: tecno.energy is authorized to enter Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs), enabling results-based energy efficiency interventions. This model allows investments to be funded through the savings generated, making innovative and sustainable solutions more accessible.
For clients, the ESCo certification ensures reliability and security: it confirms the company’s technical expertise, commitment to continuous improvement, and financial stability – all essential factors for the successful execution of energy efficiency projects.
The continuous maintenance of the certification since 2019 highlights tecno.energy’s ongoing commitment to quality, transparency, and innovation in renewable energy and energy efficiency, actively contributing to the energy transition and environmental sustainability.

PPA with Selective Delivery Period Exclusion
Innovative PPA structure strengthens solar projects in Italy and supports sustainable power supply for energy-intensive industries.
Energy Market Innovation: Flexible Solar PPA in Italy
A newly structured Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) sets new standards in the renewable energy market. Psaier.energies and IMER group, a European market leader for over 60 years in construction machinery manufacturing, have signed a 60-month electricity supply agreement based on solar power generated by photovoltaic plants in Italy.
Tailor-Made Energy Solution with Selective Delivery Period Exclusion
The core of the agreement is an innovative PPA model that introduces the selective exclusion of a historically low-consumption delivery period.
Within the solar PPA market in Italy, excluding specific delivery periods is highly uncommon. This contractual innovation provides:
- Predictable and stable electricity prices
- Protection against volatile energy markets
- Alignment with real industrial consumption profiles
- Maximum efficiency in long-term energy contracts
The electricity supply is sourced entirely from certified renewable energy. Solar power is generated by the new photovoltaic plant in Muzzana (UD) with an installed capacity of 4.3 MW (Megawatt photovoltaic capacity) and an annual production capacity of 6,000 MWh.
Thanks to Psaier.energies’ existing photovoltaic portfolio, fixed-price delivery can already begin in March, highlighting operational strength and secured photovoltaic capacity within the company’s renewable energy assets.
This agreement strengthens psaier.energies’ role in renewable energy while expanding its position in the photovoltaic market in Italy.
The project aligns with the growing number of approved photovoltaic plants and the increasing demand for green electricity and long-term renewable energy contracts in Italy.
Sustainable Industrial Partnership for the Future
Beyond economic planning security, environmental responsibility is a key focus. Supplying 100% solar power from photovoltaic systems reduces CO₂ emissions and actively supports the energy transition.
For psaier.energies, responsible action means transparent contracts, stable energy costs, secure renewable supply, and sustainable investment in megawatt photovoltaic (MW) capacity in Italy.
